Pa Get together painting questions

RE: Pa Get together painting questions
Hi all.... I was thinking about what jayne said about gallon jars etc then realized that many of us buy lots of things in jars, such as Ragu, or Chile, or even the old type mayniese jars would do the trick. They can all be made in to lovely vases etc. Also if you have plastics with noodles or beans in them, they paint up really nice. I will bring some sanding pads so that if the plastic has a lot of dings in it..we can try to sand it out, and if that doesn't work, a flower or animal of some kind would most likely look good in that spot. I am really glad you are all thinking about what you want to do etc. Love Red

monster ....how many days are left until I pick you up in the airport... I CAN'T WAIT.....as you would say...."happy dance, happy dance" especially in my heart...

RE: Pa Get together painting questions
Hi all.... I said I would give you an idea for those of you who want to paint, what we can do by a schedule for time management. Here is what I have come up with..and I will bring all the learning guides for all of us to use.

Tuesday:

7-9 (or after dinner and until you want to quit)

Practice blending, large leaves, small leaves, grass, and an english Garden with wild flowers and daisys. Possibly complete a 8X10 canvas paper flower arrangment.

Wednesday:

10-12 noon...practice Roses

1-2pm practice 5 pt. flowers
2-4pm I will be doing an oil painting with the kids.
7:30 - Whenever you want to quit... paint an 8" flower clay pot with an English Garden or Roses etc. I will bring your clay pots.

Thursday (this is the day we leave...and I am not sure but I believe we must have it cleaned and out by 4 PM..so this schedule is dependent upon all of the above.)

10-12 Practice Leaves, 5 pt. flowers, butterfies, wild flowers

1-3PM Glass painting with the above items... if we have time to do this and still be out as we are suppose too.

What you will need:

1. Glass surface
2. Wax Paper to practice on... it is cheap and it works well to practice
I hope this gives you all an idea of what you will need...love Red

Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.

RE: Pa Get together painting questions
I had an idea about the glass you can paint on. If you go to a Dollar store you can pick up really cheap photo frames with glass. You can put any color paper in the frame and paint on the glass on the front. Just an idea but the cost isn't much and you can use the pic any place you want. You can also change the colored paper to match your d'ecor.

GOD BLESS OUR COUNTRY AND OUR PRESIDENT!
