Hi all...nice attention grabber I hope... here is the scoop. I want to do more BINGO games and I have a problem ... my budget is a little tight right now and the shipping cost are climbing. I am not complaining because I love to do it. I am just stating a fact. I want to know if you want to continue to do the games, win art work, etc. I also need to know if it would be ok, to not include the oil paintings. Just one box for one painting is costing around 35.00-45.00 in shipping. I can handle the cost of the art work, but the shipping is really out of my means for a few months. The next question is, is it ok, to just have smaller items for gifts? Would you all still be interested even if the art work gifts are items such as the 11X14 Canvas paintings etc. The shipping is about 5.00 for something like this..and that works with my budget for the next couple of months. Does any one have any other ideas. I really would like to have a good plan before I start a new game.

I thought that I should just stop playing them for awhile and then I thought, if we all put our heads together we could come up with a possible solution. Let me know what your thoughts are? I love to play the games. I love to do the art work and share it with all of you so what do I do ... in the next few months...???? All ideas are welcome and appreciated. Love you all Red

At the moment I am able to chip in towards the shipping cost of one large oil painting. Anyone else? I mean...how exciting the game would be with a Big Oil as the grande prize!!! Shy

Red - as I have always told you I think we should pay for our own shipping to take this burden off of you Smile

You are already paying for the paint and canvases not to mention your time. I would be much happier about playing if we would pay our own shipping costs Smile

and BTW I would want to see the receipt to know you didn't fudge it for our sakes, LOL Smile

I agree with Wink. Maybe if the players chipped in a couple of bucks each to play that would cover the cost of shipping. It would take the burden of shipping cost off of you, not be too expensive for anyone and we all would still have a great time. But I'm open to anything.

Thanks everyone ... I wasn't looking for money for shipping just an ok, to downsize the prizes so I can afford the shipping on my tighter budget for the next few months. Also, to know if you want to continue to play the games or not. I really appreciate what you all have said. Deb, I do like your idea, but my concern is that people will not play because they do not have the money to play. That sort of defeats the purpose for them, I think. I really love to send oil paintings especially since they are so much easier to do. They are much more costly but take very little time most of the time whereas the pen and ink and toll painting can take up to several house. The box that I made for Tweety at Christmas time took almost 20 hours of staight painting... ...so it is very time consumning. I love to paint so that is ok, as long as I don't have 7 BINGO winners. Then it can be a little overwhelming for me. However, I got it all done and out for that game as well.. and I can continue to do this, I just need to downsize on the prizes... is this ok, and would everyone still enjoy the game. Love Red

And what we are going to do while monster is here... she must see Washington DC and she must see Altantic City...and could you all please talk her in to a good broadway show...in New York... sorry monster... I can't let you come all this way and not have fun...oh and we are having a BIG july 4th pool party... lots of people... I have asked Del and the Boys to be good however,..especially since Del will be traveling across the states...he can buy fire works.. they are illegal here...and I believe that someone has paid us a visit every july 4th since we moved here... they can't control themselves... so don't be surprised... maybe this year will be different..... besides...I have to show off my monster.... maybe I should introduce you as another name however... smiling... Red

Dear Red - I don't have any dress up clothes I fit in anymore so it will be jeans and t-shirts for me Smile

Please don't tell me you are having dress up parties as I will feel really out of place. Gave all my pretty clothes away about 20lbs ago and won't buy anymore until I lose some of this lard. I would feel completely out of place at a broadway show in jeans and t-shirt Sad

Only people I can figure out that show up every 4th of July besides family (which would be fun to meet) are the cops, LMAO! Smile

I also love playing the bingo games. I think that whenever someone wins that they should see the shipping ticket and pay it to you when a gift arrives. I know that it is not nearly as what it would cost someone to go out and buy a painting from a " Artist" like yourself.

If we play the game, people should be told right up front that your time and canvas, oils, etc are all done for free for winning. If they win, they can pay for it to get to their house. I for one think it is still a great gift to receive and I am sure others will feel the same.

There is NO reason why you should be paying 45.00 for paintings to go out to people who win. I think just the time, and equipment cost alone is a wonderful Jesture on your part. I say LET's PLAY BINGO!!!!
