This may be a crazy question, but here it goes. When they do an FCE do they do and ir at the same time or are they 2 different things?

I guess it would depend on your injury. I had four fce's and a modified fce at my impairment rating. The fce can be used as a diagnostic tool for the dr. and the ic. In my case they were for the dr. to see what my condition was and what else needed to be looked at as far as medical care.

After reading your last post. I noticed you did not say what state you are in. If you would do that it would help a great deal. You may find that you get more answeres. I will answere all i can but even I have limits.

If you don't want the ncm involved, then its time to make him/her uncomfortable. Tell him/her that you no longer want to see them. The law states that thry are not allowed in the exam room with you. They have a right to speak with the dr after the exam. you also have the right to be there during that time period. The ncm has a job to do for the ic. You have a job to do to see you get proper medical treatment. My ncm feft after she knew I was not going with the dr that she wanted. I hope this helps
