on ankles you get a monetary amount for the loss of range of motion and the surgical scar. As long as things are just the broken ankle and they are paying, I wouold say don't bother with a lawyer. Be very very careful when you are allowed to start "weight bearing as tolerated". Do not over do it. The one thing I would be doing now, is making sure to stretch the other leg, as when you do start walking, it will very very stiff.
