hearing in the morning

I am having a hearing in the morning wth WC for my surgery,
any advice ?

Just be honest with them and do not try to play up anything.

dont fold to them, thats what they want you to do.that way you pay the bill not them.becarefull in what you say, be honest though.thats the best thing you can do and you wont know the out come then.it takes about 1-3 months before you will find out if you won. good luck let all of use know please.

Thank you all for your concern and advise.
I don;t know what is expected of me-- I have an attorney and i HOPE HE WILL BE THERE
I haven't heard from him anyway this is the result of an ime
My dr says I need two disks removed from my neck before my shoulder surgery
IME says do the shoulder then see if neck needs to be done.
My attorney filed for a hearing to get the medical treatment my surgeon suggests.
Thats about all I can tell them.
My Dr is getting me another injection in my neck and gave me stronger pills to help with the pain
He has also ordered more PT while we wait.
I feel like I am not prepared for this hearing I really don't know what is expected of me.
I know I won't sleep much tonight I dread gettng ready to go anywhere it is exhausting and am stlll upset because my daughter got in a lot of trouble for taking more time off to get me to the hearng. I hope something comes of this but I am afraid this hearing is as stupid as the rest of workers comp.

I will be praying for you later this morning. I am sure it will go well and I would hope your lawyer will be there. I can't imagine he wouldn't be there. I have not been to my W/C hearing yet (May 08) but I was at a hearing for SS. I would imagine it would be similar. My lawyer told the judge all the info. supporting my side. Then the judge asked me some questions. I was told just to answer honestly, but not to say anything additional. Ex. If the question was do you have any hobbies that you enjoy doing? Answer something like, I don't have any hobbies right now, due to my limitations. (Then stop there and wait for the next question. Do not go into stating what you use to like and why you can not do it anymore, and how you wish you could do these things again etc.) This was a suggestion that someone gave me, and when I did start to continue with a longer answer, I noticed that the judge was obviously getting bothered and he wanted to continue. Basically give yes and not asnswers with a limited reasoning.

Hi all,
Well the attorney showed up before my case was called.
My attorney offered my dr papers
thier attorney gave the IME report
Judge said since both DRs are very well known he will go over the paper work and make the best decision.
My attorney says he may go with what my doctors order since they see me all the time
He doesnt know when we will get a decision but the judge knew I was in a great deal of pain and that may rush it.
Who knows, I am already bracing myself for another denial.
The only thing the judge asked was "am I working" of course I said no.
Thank you all for the concern it helps when you are going thru this mess.
