BadBoy, That area of the TOS you refer to is generally there for racial, sexual, specific "naughty" words (think of George Carlin's 7 words you can't use on radio) and the like. We are not the thought police. If we carried that broad a brush your sex and the washing machine posts never would have seen the light of day.

My opinion: 1171 misunderstood what stiffneck was saying. He/she apparently thought that stiffneck was recommending surgery solely as a means for a greater settlement. I did not read stiffneck's post that way, and I think stiffneck clarified themselves rather well.

If I disagree with someone's post I generally keep it to myself. With one notable exception, when I was directly referenced and criticized in a post, I believe you will find I never weigh in to argue or publicly criticize any forum member. That has, on occasion, left you with the impression that I side with one person or the other. I'm sorry you feel that way.

Long time members of this board know that we exercise minimal involvement and control here. While we think that makes for the most dynamic and personable board around, it also means that sometimes arguments erupt, and people say things that hurt others feelings. It is not just one person, it has happened from and to many over the years. It is often part of the discussion process; and that includes all the responses that usually follow.

I don't think you want the type of board where you only get to say things I agree with.
