RE: What should I do?
Thank you very much Lilly! Sciatic pain is bad
. I figured that about the doctor, it's just bad that they will let someone suffer and basically tell them that it's in their head, because they are too proud to say "Well, maybe the surgery didn't work."! Thank you again for the response!

RE: What should I do?
Tweety- I agree, it's the male ego thing! Yes, have to live with it unfortunately. PT hurts alot, they tell me that it's supposed to, I don't believe them. And it seems that no matter how bad I feel that day, they always tell me I'm looking better, lol. Thank you for your response!
![]() The doc told the pt that a side-effect of the Kadian is leg cramps, so atleast I know that, yay- a pain pill that gives you more pain. GO figure. |

RE: What should I do?
Be carefull of the sciatic pain. It can lead to other issues. One day at a time is all you can do at this point.
8-05, Micro laminectomy/disectomy. 10-05 lumbar fusion L5-S1. 2-07 exploritory surgery. 12-07 medical implant, Spinal Cord Stimulator. now receiving SSDI. Jesus died for our sins. Soilders died for our freedom. |

Tweety- thanks for the tip about bananas, I hadn't thought about them being good for the nerves, I'll start eating one everyday.
AQA- Thank you! Yes, one day at a time.

RE: What should I do?
Yellowbasil-
Welcome to the forum! I don't know yet if Lyrica will work for me, I hope it does, still waiting. The doctors all had different opinions on me getting a fusion also, I was 30 when mine was done. They thought that it would help, so they did it. It has done nothing but make things worse for me, I'm sure it's helped alot of people though. I hope if it is done to you, that it works and your pain is relieved. I'll pray for you, good luck and keep posting!
