|
I need some answers.
I hurt myself last month. I reported it and I've seen their doctors.
I missed a day of work this week because of pain. What I need to know is do I have to use a vacation day to make up my pay? I'm not sure how this works. Please help me. |

we need to know your state but in most states you have to be off 7 days with a docs excuse before they start to pay
;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone.You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life,you have come out ahead of the game.....

In Indiana you have to be off work for 7 days before monetary benifits begin.
8-05, Micro laminectomy/disectomy. 10-05 lumbar fusion L5-S1. 2-07 exploritory surgery. 12-07 medical implant, Spinal Cord Stimulator. now receiving SSDI. Jesus died for our sins. Soilders died for our freedom. |

Also, even if you missed work more than 7 days, it can't just because of pain. The doctor has to take you off work.

When i was off work due to pain when backto work on light duty, i had to use my sick time here in NH. I was not able to charge wc for my day out.
carpal tunnel recurrence/ neuropathy / RSD. 1/29/07 injury date. Permanent. PIR settlement 8/4/08 10% |
