Hi all...am I boring you to death with all this painting again... Sparkey made a comment on my painting this morning and it made me think of her and the cabin...so I did this one..there is no cabin.. that will come next I think, but there is a bear... Red

That is really a nice painting, Now a log cabin like the one we stayed in at Starved Rock Park. I want to go back there one of these days, That I think is one of my favorite places and holds memories of us in the Great room, you painting and the little bartender that came out with our drinks and to watch you paint, What a wonderfull time.

Red, You are one talented lady! Your painting makes me cold just looking at it!!
I have a couple of questions though....Do you use oils or acrylics?
Also....I haven't painted in years...but when i did, my work always looked amateur-ish to no one but me! Did, or does this happen to you?
Just wondered, if I'm wierd hehe

Hi Lilly...I always think my paintings look amteur-ish also. No one else seems too, but to me, yes. i think it is just amazing to me that I can create something wtih paint or clay that people like... sort of like when I first started playing the piano in church... I use oils for what you are seeing now, and acrylics for the pen and ink and one stroke items that you see occasionally. I am certified in all three areas...

Tuffy... I have such wonderful memories of our night there...remember the waitress who was telling us her life story..she was so cute... and adorable.. and kind.. but the food wasn't too great that night for most of you... but everything else was perfect...I loved my room... Red

Red, I wonder if most artistic people think their art work looks amateurish? Possibly this is par for the course. I recently bought myself a nice set of pastels, maybe I can get motovated into using them....but it's difficult as my dominant arm is the bum one...but i figured with pastels, i could use my opposite hand for shading/blending and such.
You can bet I won't be posting them on here for the world to see!! hehe

Red, I forgot about having to send the prime rib back to the kitchen because it was cold, To funny, I do remember her tales. and our cabin was fun, except for Gail and CRABBY snoring ROFLMAO The views were beautifull and the Deer coming up to our cabin in the morning was something else. Remember the tree carvings?????

Red picture is gorgeous...I remember years ago I use o do copper embosing pictures and I did one similiar to your painting....My teacher kept it on me....I wish I had it now....but I suppose I could start up again tho what do you think? I always wanted to paint on clay flower pots or glass ones....I can bring some with me?

CRABBY... that would be great. Just let me know since I use a different acylic paint for the clay than for the glass... let me know what your desire is sweetie..I can't wait to see you all again...love REd
