It's snowing......

Well it finally did it...it is snowing in NJ. It is late, but it is here...ouch.. I thought maybe we would miss all this wonderful white stuff... guess not... to celebrate the occasion...my grand daughter and I painted a picture today of a little boy making a snow man... see what you think...interesting uh??

I can see where she gets her talent from. She did such a lovely job. Is this her first time painting?

Hi Sparkey, thanks for looking and to answer your question, I signed her up for a class in november of 2006. She has taken classes at least monthly every since, and now I teach her .... I started taking classes after I saw how well this type of painting works with kids. They love it. I started taking classes about the same time that I came to the forum last year... I believe my first painting was in December of 2006. I came here in April of 2007. She is very talented and is now working on obtaining a certification in Donna Dewberry one stroke painting.. I already have one and she will is signed up for April of 2009. it is a rather intensive course that opens at 9 am and closes at 9 pm for 3 days and then you must produce four paintings that are judged and rated. I think she will do well... Red

First thing I though of when I saw the picture of Alexia was how much she looks like her Grandma.
