Well today is Wednesday, and of course when I checked my bank balance, I didnt get paid again. I was fighting with these aholes yesterday. I caught the HR rep in a lie. He claims he never received my updated drs note. I said yes you did. I said not only did I phone you after I faxed and you said you received it, but I also have your signature on the receipt from when I mailed it to you. Then in the mail yesterday, I received a new leave of absence packet. Why should my drs have to fill out all this paper work? Hes not the one keeping me off work, they are! I havent gotten paid in 2 weeks now. Thankfully, my freezer is stocked with food. The only thing I need to get weekly is milk. But none of the bills are getting paid and I will not have enough gas $$. Then they said instead of sending a check to cover both lost weeks, it will help extend my leave. So instead of running out of pay at the end of the month, I will have 2 weeks into June. So now I wont have rent money. Im so tired of these fuggin people. This crap has been going on for so long, you would think Id be used to it. My boss claims he is pissed off at them, but we all know hes a liar too.

Sorry for the vent... Im just so pissed off at these people.

Prncess, trust me I know the feeling and what your going through. I once went 18 Months with no check.... Scary isn't it? And my friend & Co-worker that went over 3 years without a check or needed medical. I do know what it is like when you need to pay those needed bills. I sorry to hear this going on, but as you seen, your employer has you going by what they wish, and you must follow the flow to continue.

I had a problem about a year ago and I was tired of fussing with the W/C so I E-Mailed the Governor of My State and that fixed the problem.
I cant say it will work for You but it's worth a try.

I also e-mailed my Congressman and got a return e-mail and then a phone call within 48 hours. I'm sorry prncess. I know how you feel. Hubby didn't see a dime for 3 years and I haven't now since October. It's so worrysome wondering how your paying the bills, on and on. You know I pray for you and Geena and will continue to.

I truly feel for you having to go through all this mess.  I know you are pissed as I would be myself.  If you are anything like me, when I am pissed it makes me fight that much harder.  Your employer and the IC will continue to torture injured workers as long as we exist.  They are all liars and will cause you undue stress like there is no tomorrow.  This is what they want........to wear you down.  Take a breath, and re-group to fight this fight.  I know this advice does not solve your financial problem but we as injured workers cannot give into the daily torture they dish out to us. We have to come back even stronger. Take Care!

Hi Princess...I am so sorry to hear how your company is treating you. What are you planning to do for this month...are you renting or buying? Does your land lord know what you are going through and will he or she help you a little this month? I know your Dad helps you and I am sure that is difficult for you. We all like to make our own way. However, our parents are always the best aren't they? What about food stamps or services that pay utility bills? Is there a place where you live that you can access some of these services. I can't think of any ideas. My thoughts are with you.

Princess...It posts like this that just makes my blood boil. You have fought and fought...so don't give up. DO you belong to a church? I know most are willing to give a helping hand in situations as yours. Call the HR back and request proof of no income...and then go apply for emergency food stamps and family aide. I am sure your HR department will not like to do this...just maybe they will get your check out to you.

Hey..just had a idea...just go down to the store you worked for and set up a charge account. Tell your boss you need gas and milk. And you will pay the charge account when you get all you pay from them.

Then when you can't pay your rent set up a tent in the parking lot of the store and put a big sign on it telling America why you have your little girl living in a tent. Princess I know this isn't funny. And I don't what it to be meant to be funny. These jerks you work for are some of the worst.

Agencies are out there to help in crisis situations.

Make the phone calls or get online to obtain the needed information.

Thanks everyone for all the advice. Im kind of caught between a rock and a hard place or whatever that saying is. All my utilities and my apartment is in my dads name, Ive called a few places and because its in his name and hes not poor, I cant get help with the rent. I do have an appt Tuesday for food assistance. I also spoke with my dad a little bit ago, when my grandma passed away in November, she left all her grandkids some money. Its been help up in probate court thanks to my lovely aunt and her greedy ways. However my dad said he would advance me some of the money and when it finally clears court, just pay him back.


I dont know if this was the right thing to do, probably wasnt. I was reading this thread and the responses while talking on the phone with my dad and came across springs post. After I stopped laughing and explained to my dad why I was laughing and we hung up, I had a moment to dwell on it. Then I did something now I regret doing and I cant take it back. I left my boss a not so pleasant Voicemail telling him how stupid I think this is. How stupid that I have to pay to have drs fill out forms when I havent even been paid in 2 weeks when its not the dr that wants me off, its the company. I told him that if I dont have the money to pay for my rent, it will be the companies fault and I will pitch a tent in the parking lot of my old store and write "--------- did this to me and my innocent child" all over the sides of it and pass out fliers. I so love that idea, spring. Thats a statement that will get media attention which in turn will get the problem solvers from the local media investigating the company. and before you know it, they lose business.
