;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....

RE: yummy
I ended up making eggs benedict for supper. I just love having that when i get really hungry. I did not have lunch today, so spoiled myself when i got home. I also got my new Dell Laptop 1525 Inspiron that i am using now, and soon will be hooked to be wireless. It will be great for me to be able to recline back in the chair in the livingroom and read everyone's thread.
I was totally against dell as i state before, but hubby had a 100.00 giftcard from them so we figured we would use it. So far , so good ( keeping fingers crossed. carpal tunnel recurrence/ neuropathy / RSD. 1/29/07 injury date. Permanent. PIR settlement 8/4/08 10% |

RE: yummy
hmmm sounds delicious...my neighbor just turned me on to cornbread..never really had it, or if I did I didn't like it at the time....we had it with chili....and she gave me a few boxes to make my own...tonight I made something I've never made before and it turned out quite good...I made tomatoe pepper beef, I usually just order from the chinese restaurant, but the grocer had a package of pepper steak and so I just added a au jus and brown gravy with tomatoe and onions...over rice was not too bad if I must say so myself... I'll do that again for sure

RE: yummy
Man it's been years since I had homemade chicken and noodles. I think I'm gaining weight just reading this stuff anymore. Crabby, try putting chopped green chiles or a small can of mexicorn in your corn bread. It adds flavor and moistens the cornbread a bit. YUM!
I'm making home made chili today. It may not win any prizes but everyone that tries it likes it very well. Nothing changes when nothing changes |
