Bad news

Morning all....only have a few minutes but wanted to let all know that the radiologist called our PCP within hours of hubby's CT scan yesterday. They are 99% sure it is cancer. Getting him in to see a pulmunary expert as quickly as possible for a biopsy and i am guessing removal of the mass and follow up treatment. I have been in bed with sciatica for days from the treadmill I'm guessing. Ran to get a trigger point injection so I could walk. Won't be worth much to hubby if I'm bed ridden. Life goes on. Will update when I know what treatment will be. WIll also be back later to read all other posts. God bless.

I went through 5 months of testing last spring at the cancer center of Ks. I had many test, MRi's, Ct Scans, Pet Scans, X-rays, and lots of blood work, and at the same time of going through the emotional rollercoster of a cancer diagnosis and dealing with wc at the same time was a challenge.

I did have a biopsy in May, the doctor used a 2 lb. steel hammer to get the needle into my spine.
The biopsy result was a benign tumor of the bone marrow of my T12 vertebre.

Please keep your faith and God will guide you through this latest challenge.

I love you all because you all have something to offer ALWAYS! There isn't much to say , Grandma, It is what it is. He is very scared but has a positive attitude. Always has been like that. I know when I have to be strong and will step up to the plate and be behind him every step of the way. The Dr. said because of the mass's location it can be biopsied through his bronchial tube. Since it's pressing on his airway, hence the lack of breath, it will have to be removed as quicky as possible and I get the impression there is alot of danger becaus eof it's location. Then a follow-up with Chemo???? God willing it hasn't spread anywhere. Funny thing is Hubby was the one who pushed for the whole family to quit smoking 6 months ago. I think he blamed the lack of be able to breath on his smoking and when it didn't go away he finally went to the Dr. Thank God he went. Humps are right , Lilly, and lots of them. Bummer, Limbo thanks for the good thoughts and prayers. Keep them coming and I'll keep updates coming as I get them. I prayed last night for him and asked God that since I have already been through the death of a child, a parent, my only sibling, my best friend to please not let me suffer the loss of my partner. It is the only relationship I have not lost.
