News Carrier Injury
Hi Everyone,
Hope someone can answer this or point me in the right direction. I've been throwing papers for quite a few years but recently started working for a new news distributor. Since then the way I used to throw the papers has changed and now my shoulder is not as strong as it used to be to the point where I have extreme trouble lifting my arms above my head. I know it seems weird to be delivering papers as an adult...but this is California and you do whatever you need to do to pay the mortgage. Thanks for any answers or consideration. |

RE: News Carrier Injury
Hi News and welcome to the forum. You should go to your MD and have them check your shoulders to see what could be going on. There are so many shoulder ailments that it could be. Or it could be you are just using a different group of muscles than you had been since you stated to throw the papers differently. Did you injure your shoulder in some way? If you did do you think it is job related?

RE: News Carrier Injury
Backache? I really do love that avatar. It is sooooooooo cute. As far as the shoulder, you could be just using muscles like backache said, or you could of torn something. Either way, you should have it checked out, and if you think it is work related, do the proper thing and fill out all the paperwork and document the date of injury. Look to the top of this forum under your state and read read read. Good luck.
