Insurance Company Ignoring Order
Hello all-I won an award against an insurer last November, and they have yet to make any payment or offer a settlement.I have now been taken off work by my doctor until a scheduled surgery. The insurer has not responded to my doctor's request for surgery or for my request for temporary total disability payments. What gives? How long can they ignore me and the legal judgement? To my knowledge they have not filed any denial notice.

RE: Insurance Company Ignoring Order
mmmm need more info... state...... injuries...... a settlement will not be offered until you are MMI in most cases and if you are brought back with no permanant disabilty there will be no settlement WC does not pay pain and suffering......Do you have a lawyer if so I would climb his fanny wanting to know whats going on
;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....

RE: Insurance Company Ignoring Order
most states have penalty provisions for such behavior.
You'll need to go back to court to get them awarded. you can also file a complaint with your state dept of insurance |
