Lidoderm Pain Patches
My dr gave me several samples of Lidoderm Pain Patches today.
Has anyone tried them and have they helped? He said if they work he will write a rx for them. I have been using Tiger Balm pain patches, I go through five boxes a week, very expensive. I have used Salonpas, they don't seam to do the job. |

RE: Lidoderm Pain Patches
Good Evening Bummer Knees....I have tried them they worked wonderful for the pain. The problem I had was I am very sensitive to touch. To pulling them off was awful...so had to quit using them. I would say if you are useing that many Tiger Balm patches you will like the Lidoderm Patches. I'm sure you know you can cut them to fit. My hubby loves the tiger balm patches also. He just started softball for the year. I just hate not being out there on that softball field. I played for years. But as hubby says the older he gets the more pain he has. I found the tiger patches back a few years ago when hubby fell and hurt his back. I hope the patch works for you. Let us know how they do for you.

RE: Lidoderm Pain Patches
I see this is a patch that releases 5% lidocaine, and could be used up to 3 times a day, as for patch replacement. hummm if that is the fact, I can get 20% lidocaine, and make my own patches, for my knee's this summer. I have done it before, and it works too. But I can get just about all I want, of this. I won't say how or why, I just can. maybe i will go back to it. Only reson why I seem to know it has to be change so much is, it's evaporates to quick, it's simply not time released. read up on it, in a search, you may like the results.

RE: Lidoderm Pain Patches
I am on them, and they help me quite a bit. Like Spring says, it is hell pulling them off, so I do it in the shower, they come off alot easier. I can use up to 3 patches at a time, but only on a 12hr on and 12 hr off pattern as they can cause heart arrithema(sp) if on longer periods of time. I have forgotten or been asleep and left them on for about 15 hours though, but not many times.
Hope they help you, Sithie The good news is,"You can get used to anything." The bad news is,"You can get used to anything." :-) Sithie |

RE: Lidoderm Pain Patches
I have used them and they work ok for awhile...I just found with prolonged use they were not as effective.
All good things |

RE: Lidoderm Pain Patches
I guess it depends on the area that is sore. One of my customers gave me one to try and it didnt do anything for the pain. I hope it helps you!

RE: Lidoderm Pain Patches
My Pain Management Doctor also gave me the Lidoderm patches to try during the very early stages of my injury.
He gave me 6 samples. I tryed just one...no change whatsoever...i gave him back the 5 unused patches (probably charged the IC for 6 anyway) London53 |

RE: Lidoderm Pain Patches
I tried my first Lidoderm Patch today. It did help some, although I feel I get more pain relief from the Tiger Balm Pain Patches.
I will try a Lidoderm Patch again tomorrow and see if there is an improvement. |
