Moving to Florida
Tongue Move over Admin, Is there room for one more in Fla?? I am really getting tired of all this snow and ice here. That is what I get for living in the Midwest...... 13 to 16 in of snow expected today , visibality is down to 1/4 mile, with blowing snow. Crabby and Bad Boy are you staying warm??????? How is everyone else doing?????

Snowed in, can't get out of my driveway, but then no where to go even if I did as every thing here is closed, Schools, goverment offices, retail stores etc...........PRAY FOR SPRING

Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass.
It's about learning to dance in the rain.

RE: Moving to Florida
Tuffy,
You stop in PA and pick me up girl. I'll be the one froze half to death along side the road. We finally got down our drive last night after 5 days. Hubby put chains on the jeep, I didn't care we had to get out of here for awhile.

If I could have gotten to Punxy on the 2nd I would have shot old Phil before he could see his shadow.

GOD BLESS OUR COUNTRY AND OUR PRESIDENT!

RE: Moving to Florida
I feel for ya'll, we have been driving on the same minimum four inches of ice since december 9th. I cannot imagine not having 4 wheel drive. I drove 117 miles in the chit yesterday to go to the dr. Monday they shut down the entire town of Durango, banks and all to clean up the snow. We have 9-10 foot banks on the sides of the road. I had to use my truck Monday to pull hubby out of our drive way. Ad yesterday his brakes froze.

Sithie

Did i mention I LOVE chevy?

The good news is,"You can get used to anything."
The bad news is,"You can get used to anything."

RE: Moving to Florida
I get so mad at the plows when they do that. I got in trouble last year because my insurance Co. said I didn't send my payment in. So I had to send it again. After the snow melted I went down and there the envelope was in the ditch, with some other mail the plow had gone by too close and my mailbox door flew open and all of the mail fell out and I didn't know it..

RE: Moving to Florida
Sithie,
Why do you think my ancestors didn't go west, because of what you are going through. On the other hand they more than likely got stuck here in PA and they didn't have a Chevy back then to keep them going.

RE: Moving to Florida
Sithie, Bring your Chevy, and if you can make it here to Illinois we will load it up and head for Ga and Sweets...... Sure wish I had 4-wheel drive at times like this. They are now closing down some of the roads here because of the blowin and drifting. YUCK.

RE: Moving to Florida
My sister told me Durango was completely shut down Monday. 20 inches of snow. NOW I remember why I am in Florida.

Tuffy, there's plenty of room here in the state. It is a balmy 78 degrees - oops, A/C just kicked on again - and the weather is PERFECT. Rode back from lunch with the top down, my hair blowing in the wind (Then I had to stop, and pick it up). It is JAPDIP (Just another perfect day in paradise).

Sorry guys.....
