;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....

RE: A Few Prayers Please
Limbo,
I can't say that I know what you are going through or that I can relate in any way. Anything I've gone through, I sure, is a drop in the bucket (...or maybe even ocean) compared to you. We all try to remember the things we are thankful for but sometimes it seems impossible when you are mourning the loss of so much. I hope this doesn't come across in a 'stop feeling sorry for your self' tone but here goes anyway... You may not be able to do the things you love, but you're here and you can have the joy of helping the people you love grow and achieve their dreams. You may be feeling the most pain your body has ever had to handle, but you must also be feeling the most love your heart has ever had to hold. You may not think you have any strength left, but you continue to give strength to so many, now they are able to give back to you. I didn't mean for this to sound so poemy so I'll quit before it gets worse. I know that God will never give me more than I can handle. I just wish he didn't trust me so much. -Mother Teresa |

RE: A Few Prayers Please
Hello Everyone, and Thank You All for Your kind Words of Encouragement!! My Pain has lessened a Good Bit, God Bless those Prayers!!
My other Issues are still Here, and I feel better Every day that I will be able to Handle them as they Come! The Great Support from ALL OF YOU has been Very Instrumental in Me getting My focus Back, Thank You from the Bottom of My Heart!! I'm not Sure if I Posted that right after Christmas We had to put down Our Family Dog of 16 Years, Arthritis and Renal Failure got the Better of Him, and Putting Him to Rest was the Best We could do for Him, but what a Heart Breaker it was for the Family! My Father, Bless His Soul could See this Coming for Our Dog Lucky, so He Had His Pure Bred Cocker Spaniel Bred with another Pure Bred, I Honestly think He did this so We could have another Dog, and He also wanted 2 more for Himself. 3 Days ago We received Our Pup at 6 Weeks Old, a Female We named Lucy (Lucky without a K) After Our other Dog, and She's Adorable!! In 2 Days We have Her House Trained (95%) and Walking with a Leash! She couldn't have come to Me at a better Time, She has Really raised my Spirits!! I'm starting to feel a Lot Better, and I will be Back on Driving You Guys Nuts Soon!! I Just can't Thank You All Enough for Your Kind Words and Encouragement, and Trust me, I felt ALL of Your Prayers!! Now it's Time to Pay it Forward, and get back on Here and try and Help who I can!! Bless You All, and I Hope All is Well with You!!

RE: A Few Prayers Please
Limbo, Welcome home, glad things are coming together. And a great big sloppy kiss for our new member Lucy, How about a picture of your new loved one?????????
Watch out for monster! She has a thing for all puppies and may try and talk you into sending Lucy to California. LOL Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain. |

RE: A Few Prayers Please
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I experienced that myself for the first time when i had to put my dog of 14 yrs down. It was the most difficult thing i had to do. He had such bad arthritis and i hated to see him suffer any further.
I tried to replace him a few months back with a Ridgeback i paid alot of money for and had flown to me from Texas. I unfortunatly had to give him up to my best friend as i could not be home with my new job to give him the attention and energy he needed. I was not working when i bought him and got a job offer right after he came to me. At least i can visit him when i want and know he is well cared for. Just last week i went to see him and he is now 90 lbs and only 7 months. He has so much strength that it hurt my hand just visiting him and touching him for the one hour visit. I could have never handled his strength if i owned him 24/7. I feel for your pain, as this month i have experienced more of the " self pity" and cry almost everyday out of the blue because of being so fed up with not being able to do the things i loved to do anymore. I hurt constantly even with pain meds. Do you go to pain management? Even with that i have alot of strong meds that i use daily to get myself out of bed to be able to dress myself, live a somewhat normal life trying to work. I am at the point now with my new job of not being able to handle the pain in what i am expected to do. I fight each day to try to work, and do not want to disappoint my husband as he got me this job with his company. Of course we have our good days, and we have our bad, but i always try to remember that there are people worse off than me that suffer with terminal illness and i could be much worse than i am. I thank god everyday that i can wake up, enjoy my kids/grandkids and still be here to enjoy what i see everyday when the sun rises. Just keep that in mind next time you feel the pain worsen. Prayers will be with you as always. Take care. carpal tunnel recurrence/ neuropathy / RSD. 1/29/07 injury date. Permanent. PIR settlement 8/4/08 10% |

RE: A Few Prayers Please
Thanks for the Replies everyone, and Tuffy I'll keep My Eye out for Monster! That lovable Blue Little monster could Probably Talk Me Half-Way into sending my Pup, I'd do just about anything for Her, so I'll be Careful!!
![]() Sparkey, I have been in PM for going on 2 Years, and my Dr. is Great! Remember, even though Your Husband got You this Job, You have to remember that You are the One in Pain, and if You would have to take some Time Off, or be Re-Checked by Your Dr. for Your Pain He would Understand, I know My Wife wouldn't want Me in Unnecessary Pain for any Job, and I'm Sure Your Husband is the Same! My Pain is constant, and there are just Times that no matter what I do, or what Meds. I take the Pain won't Cease, and I have to Battle through until it Subsides on it's own! My Dr. Warned Me of this, and I just have to Fight it until it becomes Bearable Again! Please don't over do it, and have Your self Checked if You think the Pain is too much, you know Your Body Better than Anyone else, and You have to Protect it! Be Well, and Thanks for the Kind Words, and I'm Sorry for the Loss of Your Pet, that's a Feeling no One should have to Feel!!
