Happy Mother's Day everyone!! Could you answer a question for me? Every year I get cards from people I know and they usually say something like I wanted to send you this card today because you are a REAL Mother. The odd part of this is I'm Male??? Could you clear things up for me?

Hi all...I want to wish you all a happy mothers day. It sounds like most of you have a huge day planned. My plans are a little quieter. My daugher is coming over and she is cooking dinner while I make her a "diaper cake" and paint her a wooden basket to carry diapers in for a baby shower she is going to this week. I don't know if I have mentioned it before, but I have a studio, or I did have. I tore it down and sent most of it to Oregon. I am certified in Pen and Ink, One Stroke, and toll painting. I am working on a certification on the Bill Alexander method of wet on wet oil painting. I can teach scrapbooking and stamping. I use to own a ceramic shop so I have all that equipment as well. I guess the big thing now is the diaper cakes. I use to sell them on ebay and then it got to be to much for me so I stopped and now do it for people on occasion. If you ever want to meet one of my teachers and see my grand daughter painting..she is only 9 and she does a better job of than I do...go http://www.magicbrushart.com It is a very interesting site. As always I wrote a book...I guess you know what I am doing for mothers day...crafts...lol.

Because of my injuries and because my Mom can not travel I will not be able to see her AGAIN on mother's day, its been three years and I miss her

SOunds like y'all had a great Mother's Day !! I spent the day relaxing and talking to 2 of my four kids. #1 Dumbson is going to get an earful the next time I call or he calls me ~LOL~.

I was unable to reach my mom yesterday, as her phone was constantly busy. I guess that is what she gets for having such a large family. I will call her here in a bit. She's come to expect me to call the day after. I am the black sheep of the family, living as far away as I do. All the rest of the brother's and sister's live in CO or NE. The last time I saw my mom would be 2 years ago Memorial Day weekend when we scattered my daddy's ashes in the Colorado Rockies. I have doubts that I will ever see her alive again.
