Las Vegas Fire
My hubby and I are going to Las Vegas in 2 weeks. This is a planned business trip he won through the company along with some coustomers. (We wil be taking the trip together)

Course I am always nervous about traveling, especially after the Tulsa auto accident.

Well I just watched the news and the casino where we are to stay is on fire.

Perhaps this is a sign not to go.

Jayne,

It was the Monte Carlo. Got a call from the ex roomie there, they still haven't figured out if it was just the roof or if it burnt into the suites below. But the casino is closed for now.

Yes, the Monte Carlo where we were going to stay. I'm told the fire is on the fifth floor. All casino guset have booked into other casinos. Also told part of the strip has been closed.

I really don't want to go on this trip but being told it is a must do.

RE: Las Vegas Fire
BK, from the looks of it, the roof caught fire and it spread down three floors. The report says there was some welding being done on the roof. They are not saying that is what caused it or not. I just happened to see it on the world news.
