I have to pee...

but I don't have the time! (and you people want me to do a garage sale to keep me out of the poor house, hah!) The reason for the title is because after doing one thing after another for hubby, kids, house and everything else, I kept remembering that I had to go potty but before I could I was on to the next to do item.

With that explained, I will share my good news. It doesn't sound like good news but when you campare it to the rest of my news, it's good. Anyway, the landord called tonight. You know, the one who hasn't been paid for January yet? I didn't have the kahonas (sp?) to answer but I called him back after I had a few minutes to prepare. I acted half stupid, the other half was no act. I told him that I just hoped the check had went through and was in a state of denial. I told him everything that had happened and long story not so short, I have to give him the wc paperwork and he is going to talk to his partner. I have no idea what they will do but I realized most of our rent stress was coming from having to face them and not so much the money issue. So we have a little time. For that I am grateful.

Angel-yes we are in the south by henderson. Any info or advice would be great. No our attorney wasn't just telling us what we want to hear. We have a very good bargaining chip in that if they don't want us to go after the company for negligence they will have to reverse the wc denial.

I do have one rant but I want to end this post and night in a positive mood so I will save that for tomorrow. Sweet dreams everyone!

jdx, it's good to have you on the off topic forum. I know what you mean about having to pee and not having the time to do it then forgetting that you had to go in the first place! Of course by the time you remember, you think you are going to bust!

I'm glad you have some extra time on the rent. Maybe your landlord will realize what you all are going through and be human about it. You never know, maybe he has been through wc or a situation like it.
It's not easy to face people you owe money to when you don't have it, but most of them are going to be more undertanding if you go to them and explain.
