RE: Thank you all
Vickie

I have started to post several times on this thread and this subject just hits close to home.

With you injuries you have been dealt with a plate full but you are a strong person and your strength will win.

I posted on another thread about physical therapy stopping my therapy for lack of progress.
Having that happen was hard because I felt the therapy was helping and when we lose treatment we have all sorts of emotions.

I went to Wal Mart yesterday and the leg/nerve pain was so bad that I wanted to cry. I really needed to leave the store and go home but had to stay and wait for pharmacy to fill my meds. I really did have to pull from my inner strength to get through that.

Currently I am receving no medical treatment and I do worry about my injuries getting worse and I worry about the future.

Vickie, we share share much of the same injuries and anytime you would like to share just give me a pm.

RE: Thank you all
Thank you all for you sweet thoughts and words. You make me cry, but it's a good kind of cry. I feel so gratefull to have found all of you. You all are so caring and compassionate. I am going to just keep my faith, I know that the Lord will only give us as much as we can handle, but sometimes I think that he thinks that I'm stronger than I actually am. My melt down scared me, to say the least. I don't like feelings like that and am going to try very hard to not let those thoughts come back. I'm by no means happy again, but I do feel better, thanks to all of you. I think some of what happened was because my mind couldn't accept my prognosis. It is a reality and I have to learn to deal with it, and I'm confident that I will.
Thanks again.
Love
Vickie

RE: Thank you all
Hi Vic,
It is ok to have a melt down. We've all done it, more than once! A good crying jag lets all that pent up nastiness go. An instant emotional purge for your system. In your minds eye, you will find that middle ground and be able to tolerate (notice i didn't say accept!) what you have been given....and WILL be able to hopefully get past this emotional barrier/hump...and enjoy more happy times that you WILL still have ahead.
Prayers for all!! LillySmile

RE: Thank you all
Lilly and Jayne,
Thanks for your encouragement and also for letting me know that I'm not the only one that this happens to. I also want to thank the ones who gave me phone calls, it meant alot to me. I'm feeling better about things now, even though I'm still hurting and having headaches, it could be a heck of alot worse. Thanks again.
Love
Vickie

RE: Thank you all
Jayne
I know that when I have to drive an hour to my Dr.,that my head as well as everything else hurts more and it does make it hard to concentrate on everything around you on the road. I have my mirrors set up real good in my truck, but still hurts to turn my head very far to double check the next lane before I change lanes. I tend to stay in the same lane all the way if I can.
