Good Idea

At our womens meeting at church we decided to before going to bed to find at least 3 good things that happened that day and before we get up 10 good things that are thankful for this day....It doesnt have to be anything major just a way to try and focus on the positive in our lives.....This morning I woke up alive and so did my family....so many didnt...I can see...I can walk(altho it hurt)I have a warm home and plenty to eat I have my forum family..I am going to see my Grands tonite.....Honeys sugar is down....Kids are healthy and happy and have warm coats...the list of good things are endless if we focus on them and not the bad.....I have pain thank God I am not a parapalegic.....try it folks it sure made it easier to get up this morn.....now if I can find a way to get my fingers into that bloody bingo word jar and pull out my names........mmmmmmmmmm gotta think on that one...Have a wonderful day all and look for the positive

You are so right Jane. If we focus more on the cup being 1/2 full than it being 1/2 empty our lives will be so much happier. I woke up in pain today but I am able to feel. Everyone in my family is healthy and my grandkids get to come and spend a few hours with me every day.

I have been bitter for so long because of the way we are treated, but I really do have so much to be thankful for. I'm going to try and think of all of the good things and forget the bad. If you start to pick names for Bingo I have a few you can use to help me out HA HA.

When one has daily pain, disabilities, depression and worries...it's hard to remember the good things one really has! Thanks for reminding us that we are still among the living....and it could be worse.
