Run your own work comp website
For those who want to do more to help and support injured workers this is a rare opportunity to make a difference:
"The webmasters of IW4C can no longer support this website.  If anyone is interested in taking over the domain name and website with all the contents, please email: webmaster@injuredworkers4change.org" http://www.injuredworkers4change.org/ |

RE: Run your own work comp website
I like it here why go any where else....
;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....

RE: Run your own work comp website
Respectfully, you guys are all wrong. This is not a forum site that 1171 has posted, or anything that would compete with workerscompensation.com. It a very informative site for IW's and others involved in WC to receive tons of information all under one roof.
Thanks 1171 for letting us know. This is something I would love to do if I had the time. I am doing everything in my power to stay afloat right now, but maybe in the future if I end up having to retire early.

RE: Run your own work comp website
Wink,  I'm sure 1171 knows the whole scoop, but from what little I've read after going to that link,  the site is totally supported by the Webmaster.  They do sell advertising, but apparently they don't market very well.    Just my opinion.    The first thing whoever takes it over needs to do is change the name of the site but leave a direct connection.  I heard somewhere else that the group itself, injuredworkers4change, has slowly been dwindling down in membership.

RE: Run your own work comp website
I used to have that site bookmarked and would go to it once in a while, but it started getting stagnant with posters leaving due to arguments, etc. and then the spammers found there way in. I just deleted it the other day and it's funny that 1171 posted it was available. It just seems like Admin. there must not of had the time to care for it. People there weren't as tight and close as we are here!!

RE: Run your own work comp website
Why advertise another WC Site on this Board anyway's. I thought advertising was against the Rules (TOS) here?
