RE: Multifunction printers
We have an HP all in one and love it - when we have a fax coming in - the fax light lights up so all I have to do is either let it ring the number of times for the fax to pick it up or just hit the fax button.
It will also store up to 5 most commonly used fax numbers so if you fax to your attorney a lot you can have him on speed dial ........ lol It was very easy to set up. We picked ours up at a local office supply store since driller sometimes has to bring stuff home from the rig to fax or has to fax things from the rig for me to fax to his boss when the rig's fax machine gets jealous of his boss' fax machine talking to ours........... lol Other than that he will scan in the report and e-mail them to his boss ..... so it works great and handy to have around. We even have another phone hooked up to the back of the fax so that we can pick up a regular phone call as well. |

RE: Multifunction printers
I bought a Lexmark (can't remember all of the letters right now) wireless printer with fax, scan, copy, and print. I bought it after my MRI and a quick trip to the school, so I was too tired and sore to set it up tonight. I'll set it up tomorrow and see how it works. I'll let everyone know what I think of it after it's up and running.
Grundig and anyone else who knows, can you refill any printer cartridges yourself? If you can, is there a certain type or brand of refill ink to use? Thanks again all! |

RE: Multifunction printers
I remember buying a refill kit a long time ago at Walmart. I had no problem refilling the black but screwed up the color, lol.

RE: Multifunction printers
OK, I went and looked at what I bought. It's a Lexmark X6570. I would really be interested in finding out if I can refill this myself. I am going to print the wedding invitations for my husbands niece and it would be nice if I don't have to buy several new cartridges. It just seems crazy to me that you can buy a printer and then by the time you buy a few ink cartridges, you could have bought another printer. I guess they sell you the printer to suck you in, then they make their money on the refills.
You guys are all awesome! |
