HI ALL,DO YOU EVER FEEL LIKE YOUR HOUSE IS A PRISON???? STUCK INSIDE WITH PEOPLE WATCHING YOU ALL THE TIME OR JUST CAN'T GET OUT TO DO WHAT YOU NORMALLY WOULD DO ON A DAILY BASIS BEFORE YOUR INJURY...JUST WONDERING IF IT'S JUST ME!!!!!!!

You are not the only one. I periodically go for a drive just to get out of the house. I don't go any where specific. I just have to get out of the house and see a very small part of the world on the highway.

HI AQA,THANKS FOR RESPONDING...I BET YOU CAN'T DO THAT MUCH WITH THE WAY GAS PRICES ARE!!!!!!BUT I'M SURE ANYTHING WOULD HELP,OR SOME SORT OF HUMAN INTERACTION,EVEN A PHONE CALL FROM A FRIEND HELPS UNTIL I TALK THEIR EARS OFF BECAUSE I'M SO BORED OF BEING STUCK IN THIS HOUSE,THIS CRAP HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR ALMOST 2 YEARS AND IT'S STARTING TO GET TO ME!!!!!!

I hate the feeling of being stuck in the house! If it hadn't been for this site I would have lost my mind. I remember when I started pt, I was just so thankful to have someone to talk to besides my family. I talked the therapists ears off. When I started back to work, I was really happy to be able to have somewhere to go everyday and I felt useful again, but that didn't last too long before I was in too much pain again. I guess I'll find out this week if I can go back to work again or not.

TRUCKSTER>>>>>>>>>> we had 3 beautiful days here. around 70. I wanted to take a walk so badly but wasn't sure if I'd make it. Asked my attorney if I could try and he advised me against it. I guess if i took a short walk and had to call hubby 'cause I oculdn't make it home and the IC was filming me they wouldn't know I couldn't make. YES!!!!! all the time to anser your question.

This is what i do when I'm feeling stir crazy.
I go to the second hand stores and snoop...like Goodwill or Salvation Army stores or flea markets. It gets me out of the house, plus it's interesting to see what people get rid of! Try it...you may like it You can brouse at your own pace. I am also on the computer ALOT!

could not have said it any better. home feel locked up no money for gas. feeling like a loser while wife goes to work son goes to school. sitting home complaining about injuries.your not alone on this.i just say to my self one day.

I have a local cematary I go walk in and visit....check out the newbys and be thankful I am not there....have you all checked out POGO.com its a gamesite that for the most part is free...many of us go there...it is open 24/7 and always someone to chat with....I am Billijane there and will send you a free pass to check out "members only" part if you wish.Between this site and POGO I have kept some of my sanity...and if you can play pinochle find me and we will play together

THANKS TO EVERYONES RESPONSES,I SEE I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE THAT FEELS THIS WAY.I DO TRY TO GET OUT WHEN I CAN WHICH IS NOT VERY OFTEN,BUT BETWEEN BEING IN THE HOUSE ALL OF THE TIME AND NOT CONTRIBUTING TO THE HOUSE HOLD FUND EXCEPT FOR THE W/C CHECKS JUST GETS ME FRUSTRATED AND WELL FEELING KIND OF WORTHLESS.I DO WHAT I CAN AROUND THE HOUSE WHILE MY WIFE IS AT WORK TO HELP HER AND TRY TO STAY OCCUPIED DOING SOMETHING.I DO VISIT THIS SITE OFTEN AND IT HAS TAUGHT ME ALOT ABOUT THE W/C SYSTEM AND WHAT TO WATCH OUT FOR....THANKS FOR THE INVITE JANE AND I WOULD LOVE THAT FREE PASS WHEN IT IS CONVENIANT FOR YOU...THANKS ALOT EVERYONE!!!!!!!
