ssdi
Good morning to you all, just thought i would update everyone, ssdi paperwork still at the payment processing center, been sitting on the benefits authorizers desk for 9 weeks now, remember they offset my check instead of pro-rating it, so as of right now they owe me backpay again, they have had it srewed up since i got approved last may.Does anyone know if they have a set time limit for the payment processing center to complete your paperwork?I have called so many numbers but am always told they are still processing it.Have a good one, halftrak

RE: ssdi
Hi halftrak>>>> hubby was approved in dec. of '06. He has had nothing but aggravation since. Never a check in the right amount. always owing them something and then the next month they owe hi, It's been a nightmare. He has a request for a review that he initiated to try to solve this and that is at least 8 months going and no answer yet. CAP God is never late. In the end it doesn't matter how many years were in your life but how much life was in your years. |

RE: ssdi
Hubby just got another letter yesterday stating that they changed the amount again. One of two things is going to happen. Either they're going to work this out or hubby is going to owe someone alot of money. How can they do this. Give>>>take it back! Give>>>>take it back! We have gone through this for over a year now. Hubby has no idea what's his and what isn't. His attorney is of no help and even though he has gone to the SS office 4 times already no one seem sto know what's going on. He had 4 people the last time he went trying to figure out what in God's holy name was happening and no one could. One man found hubby's papers sitting on an employee's desk 2 months after she was asked to file an appeal. UGH! Yes halftrak>>> for some it's as bad as WC.

RE: ssdi
I just got back from SSA. After a thirty minute face to face conversation I was able to get the amount straighten out. Once that was done I was asked if I wanted them to get me a "critical payment check" for the amount that is owed?? After questioning them about the time frame it takes at the processing center I was told "there is no ryme or reason to it. Some times it happens in less than a week and sometimes it takes six months". I declined the "critical payment check" at this time. My claim with wc has three different monetary amounts to it. one being when the payments end. I did not want to add any more confusion to it. I was told that at any time I could go back to the local office and request the check.

RE: ssdi
Aqa. I did go to the local ssa office the other day and had them cut me a critical check for the remainder of my check, still no news from the payment processing center,my offset or pro=rating is done and over with for several months now. It sucks that they can't get it done, I have run out of patience, maybe they will get it done sooner or later.halftrak
