need settlement % disablity chart

Maybe Im mixing it up with another settlement chart. Is there another chart like this for figuring settlement? Im not sure disablity chart is the proper name .Sorry this whole thing is still kinda new for me .

rating involves 2 separate processes.
the first is the impairment percentage that comes from the doctor.
the second converts the impairment to disability payments.
The link I provided relates to the disability payments i.e. number of weeks for various body parts. That is state specific.
the medical rating is much more complex and depends on what system your state uses.
does Maryland use the AMA guides?
If so they are proprietary and not available on line. The doctors have to take special classes to learn how to use them and become certified.
If you want information in how your impairment will be rated discuss it with your doctor. They may show the book and give you some details.

AMA ratings are complex. However, some parts are avaliable on-line. You can read over them but it will only give you a general idea. I've had 3 impairment ratings done by 3 different doctors on the same injury(spine) and all 3 are different. The AMA guidelines are specific but not all doctors take the time to get certified but they do the ratings anyway. It really screws things up for the injured worker.

Ill assume thats why they are having travel 100 miles to another Nuero shrink. so they came basicly get a rating and second opinon . Im already seeing one often just 8 miles away.
Next month Im gonna have a long sit down with my lawyer and have him give me a better idea of it all. Basicly he has told me it could be a year or longer before settlement because of the brain injury in that even if the mind has been working properly theres a much long period of time for the healing of the brain tissue itself.

With your injuries 1 or 2 years before any final settlement is likely.

Muttley....be thankful you are ABLE to wait 1 or 2 years...you had some terrific & horrible injury's....you are lucky to be alive!
