Surgery Time

Well,,,I had a meeting with the Surgeon today.
Scheduled for nerve surgery on monday.
There gonna open my elbow up,and do a nerve transposition.
It involves : 1 Cutting elbow about 6inches from both sides of the elbow joint.
                 2 Cutting muscles off the Interior of Elbow.
                 3 Move Ulner Nerve to New Location.
                 4 Re-attach muscles to the bone.
                 5 Sew me up,,,,put me in a cast for 6 weeks.
Then the PT start.s.....Total time to recover    8-12 Months.:

Best wishes on your recovery. They way you described it sound horrible. I spent less than a year in the Operating Room working as a circulating nurse, and it was not for me....I know you are in good hands. Our prayers are with you.

I hope it goes well I am probably facing the same surgery and because of the recovery time and I live alone I have to figure a plan.Not to mention running an office.
Will have thoughts and prayer for your sucessful surgery and a speedy recovery!
