Surgery Time
Well,,,I had a meeting with the Surgeon today.
Scheduled for nerve surgery on monday. There gonna open my elbow up,and do a nerve transposition. It involves : 1 Cutting elbow about 6inches from both sides of the elbow joint.                 2 Cutting muscles off the Interior of Elbow. ![]()                 3 Move Ulner Nerve to New Location. ![]()                 4 Re-attach muscles to the bone. ![]()                 5 Sew me up,,,,put me in a cast for 6 weeks. ![]() Then the PT start.s.....Total time to recover    8-12 Months. :@princess,,,,Why do you think I,m getting married???? Babebahn..."Tongues don't have erasers" Injured 1999 3 level anterior cervical fusion 2001 Settled Work Comp Case 2006 w/ Lifetime Medical Currently, C7-T1 is being watched will possibly need surgery front/back fusion from C3-T2, lower back needs another facet injection. |

Best wishes on your recovery. They way you described it sound horrible. I spent less than a year in the Operating Room working as a circulating nurse, and it was not for me....I know you are in good hands. Our prayers are with you.

May the Surgeons hand be steady and recovery be quick!!
Failed Back Surgery, Chronic Pain, Totally Disabled. Knowledge is Power, Especially in the World of w/c. Learn as Much as You can about Your States w/c Laws, and don't Fight Battles alone, They Use Attorney's, and so Should You!! |

I hope it goes well I am probably facing the same surgery and because of the recovery time and I live alone I have to figure a plan.Not to mention running an office.
