Trust me, if there is a cheat sheet, it would of been made up, by a Company that employ's themself, to Insurance carriers. To try and apply a list to that many States will take for ever. Are you trying to start a Business? Nurse case Managers mostly are required to be RN's or LPN's, or upper most certified and Licensed per State.

No, not a business. I am just an employee who has been asked to do an unreasonable amount of work; - working with an insurance company that has IW's located all over the united states. These are the states I have been assigned and I was trying to get some information, that is all. Thanks for your help though.

Most I think are RN's, carry cpr certificate. You can probably get the information from the state's insurance websites for the different states that you are looking up the information on. Or from the Nursing Licencing board if that is who regulates it. Most states have this information on line.

Thank you.  Yes, I think that is where I need to go - the state's website for worker's compensation.  Actually I found another site which is very helpful and that is:   http://www.dol.gov/esa/regs.statues/owcp...wclaw/htm. - I think with this information I am set to go.  Thanks everyone for your advice.

N.C. Industrial Commission has a website: Rehab Rules It is Rehab Rule IV. Please also make sure you read the Rules regarding communications with the physicians and regular reporting. This means disclosing all contact with the treating doctor. Also, whether you are inhouse or not, your communications with the adjuster are discoverable.
