Hi Sweet, I haven't kept up with the news the last few days so I hope by now maybe things are getting better for you and your son. I will keep you and him both in my prayers as well.
BummerKnees - I was raised in tornado country and for some reason the damned things seem to be attracted to mobile home parks. I hope he will get some sense in his head and leave next time. I am glad he was safe, but he sure was taking a big chance. Do you guys have storm cellars where you are...maybe his neighbores might have one, or another safer place to be near by??? sweet what is happening? how is your son? you?
I also live in a mobile doublewide,no celler and dont want one.....my home is not worth the life of anyone in my family and would send my children to a celler but I would stay in the yard and watch....and only hit the celler if I seen one coming right at me......they are deadly but beautiful..... ;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone.You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life,you have come out ahead of the game.....

Im sending you all the rain from Michigan... Keep as long as you need it there, then pass it on to another state that needs it. NO need to return it to Michigan. Theres about an inch of water in my parking lot from this mornings rain.

How I wish that I could bottle up all this rain that we have been getting in N Central Texas. We have been under tonado watches, as well as flash flood watches off and on all week, and are due another round this evening. Although no damage to our home at this time, time will only tell. As I drove home from work this morning (got an early release as it was slow) I looked at the playground of the elementary school 2 blocks away (it was dark this morning when I passed so never noticed), there were great big tree limbs down all over.

Sweet Tooth....Just saw the fire on the news...That is crazy. I sure hope everyone there continues to be kept out of harms way. You sure can't mess with mother nature. Hope your son will leave if it does come down to living. Just as others have said it is only material and can be replaced. You know we are all praying for you and your family. Stay safe. Please keep in touch so we know all is well with you and your family.

sweet called me last nite and the rain had came see prayers work.......her southern accent was worse than mine lololol I was happy to talk with her and hope she calls again soon
