Question more questions
Hi all...I'm not sure if you'll remember but, I have posted before on this subject...now I have another question. Or just need advise Smile On my last MRI, it showed a bulging disc (9mm) that was causing "mass effect upon the thecal sac". That was 6/06....I have had 3 epidural's, 1 lumbar facet injection and the nerve burn process. Well after all of that, my doctor tried to prescribe Methadone to me and I just didn't like that at all! So, I let my pm doctor (who is also my primary doctor), I would like a second opinion. My second opinion is a highly recommended neurosurgeon. He reviewed my mri from 06 and sent me for another one before discussing my condition. After getting that mri done, I went back to the neuro and he suggested L5 fusion with the cage. I hate to be long winded but my problem is some days I can't even stand in my shower or walk, but other days the pain isn't quite as bad....I guess, I'm just conflicted!!!! Does anyone else feel like this? ooohhh did I mention the surgery is scheduled for Dec. 20th!!!! HELP, I need something!
