Weather getting nasty here
When I got up this morning there was a sheet of frozen stuff on everything outside. I thought maybe that was all but it started to thunder and rain adding to what we already had. Had a limb fall on roof but appears there is no damage from it that I can see from the ground. So far so good.

where you live was ice in tulsa but not here we can hear a thunder storm coming.....
;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone.You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life,you have come out ahead of the game.....

ice did someone say Ice????? Have I got some ice for you........ but we don't have any trees close by thank goodness but I do have ice in my entry way before you get to the door - my poor windows on the truck are all covered with ice and have been since Saturday night - nope not warming the truck up just yet - means I may have to go someplace and I don't plan on that. And we have more coming our way..... all I can say is at least it looks pretty outside while I stay inside safe and sound.

More ice is supposed to be on its way to my area. If it stays as cold as it is now, we could end up with 1/2 to 3/4 inch of ice by Tuesday evening. I hope it warms up some so we don't get all of that ice!

Our power was out for about 3 hours but is back on now. The trees in this area are taking a beating. Like Pooh said it is pretty but very miserable if you have to go slipping and sliding outside. My wife was sent home from her work and was told "don't call us" "we'll call you" when power is back on. I don't think she is very heart broken about it since it is administrative time off.

Oh Lord>>>>>>>We've had some flurries and sleet off and on for a week now but nothing substantial. It's just so cold and damp out that it makes body parts hurt I didn't even know I had. CAP God is never late. In the end it doesn't matter how many years were in your life but how much life was in your years. |

We here in Northern Il have about 7 or 8 in of snow on the ground , then freezing rain and sleet on top of that, Have cleaned my car off 3 times, and still have 1/2 in of ice.... I am not, repeat not going to do it again. In case of an emergency will dial 911 and let them come to me.
Beside we have some really good looking firefighters in this area LOL Stay warm and toastie everyone, and pray for an early spring........... Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain. |
