other disability claims
I was hurt on the job and my Wc claims are coming in very slowly.
I have AFLAC for short term disability. My claims person tells me that I cannot get any short term disability because I am getting (slowly) my WC. WC only pays 66% of my weekly pay, so cant AFLAC pay me the other 40%? Anyone have an answer for this?
ThanksSad

RE: other disability claims
Jaeden,

Read what your policy says or call the insurance company and ask them. I have combined ins for short term and I had no problem collecting mines, . But I heard that in the past few years they did change some rules a little like you can only get so much like the balance of your pay or something like that. I got all of mines (1200 per month) plus the max from w/c because I have had my policy for several years and I didn't fall under the new rules. What's the sense in having disability ins. if you can't use it when you need it?
