RE: ssi/ssd
SSI. is based on income. SSDI. is based on disability.
To be receiving SSI, you would have to be earning less than a specific amount. SSDI refers to the inability to maintain gainful employment. 8-05, Micro laminectomy/disectomy. 10-05 lumbar fusion L5-S1. 2-07 exploritory surgery. 12-07 medical implant, Spinal Cord Stimulator. now receiving SSDI. Jesus died for our sins. Soilders died for our freedom. |

RE: ssi/ssd
it's the one where i get a check for me and one for the kids and wife two . they approved me for it when they couldn't find me a job due to my disability so i figure it must be ssdi.but i hear people talk about the two and i was wondering if i should have went and filed for the other instead of the one i have.i'm getting close to my 10 year mark for being injured and i can't seem to find another attorney around here so i am thinkin i'm gonna get the shaft pretty soon.

RE: ssi/ssd
I was doing some research in reference to my ssdi claim. I found that SSI. is based on the dollar amount of $900.00 per month.
From what you said. I believe you to be receiving SSDI.. And yes SS does review the medical condition of individuals that are receiving SSDI.. I think you would have a hard time finding any attorney to help you now, unless you are to pay them directly. SS attorney's get payed from the back pay the individual receives up to $5300.00. Being that you are getting the benifits at present there would be no back pay. You should excpect to get a packet from them, for you to fill out about your medical condition and your daily activities. They may want you to go to one of thier Dr's for an exam. 8-05, Micro laminectomy/disectomy. 10-05 lumbar fusion L5-S1. 2-07 exploritory surgery. 12-07 medical implant, Spinal Cord Stimulator. now receiving SSDI. Jesus died for our sins. Soilders died for our freedom. |
