RE: recipes exchange
Bacon wrapped water chestnuts?

2 cans of whole water chestnuts
1 lb. of bacon
soy sauce
cut bacon in half, wrap 1/2 piece of bacon around a whole water chestnut, secure with toothpick. Place water chestnuts in bowl and sprinkle with soy sauce, I use approximatle 4 tlbs. refrigerate for 1 hour more or less, drain and broil until bacon is done to your liking. These are quick and delicious. I'm afraid to read what Monster comes up with about the chestnuts. ha ha

Just wanted it to stay up a little so I can get a few more ideas to try. One of my friends has started calling Bob Crocker instead of Betty Crocker

RE: recipes exchange
Ok. I'm not a recipe follower, but last night I made some yummy bbq'd meatballs. Here's approximately what I used.

1 and1/2 pound hamburger
1/2 small onion, diced and cooked
slice and 1/2 white bread
little pepper, seasoning salt, garlic powder
2 eggs

Mix well, shape into whatever size you want, brown on all sides, put in a baking dish

sauce
KC Masterpiece bbq sauce
brown sugar
Heinze chili sauce

simmer the sauce for a little bit, then cover the meatballs with sauce and foil.
Bake in oven on 350 for about an hour.

5591 Any time you need a recipe for something you can PM me. I can cook just about anything and it sounds as if the rest of this group are fantastic cooks as well. Maybe we can open a restaurant up, I would if you let me be a PI too. I LOVE a good mystery.

Don't worry Crabby! I use the canned crab meat. You're still fresh!
