Not because he has anything against anybody, but because the only things he has ever heard about chat lines is they are evil, was laughing too. BA - glad you got a laugh. Please tell hubby we are not axe murderers we only have it out for evil adjusters and defense attorneys (j/k) Glad you're not mad at me for messing up your previously wonderful thread...I am in one of my goofy moods today Smile

Tuffy - the pretzel salad jello strawberry stuff that admin found for you and I had been missing for over 20 years. You're supposed to squishy the pretzels up, add 3 tsbp. sugar, and stir into 3/4 cup butter. Then you pop in oven for 8 minutes. Did you forget that part? You know RAW pretzels will give you E-Coli girl, ROFLMAO Smile

RE: recipes exchange
Here it is girl...YAY, I got to contribute thanks to Tuffy and Admin Smile

STRAWBERRY PRETZEL JELLO SALAD

2 c. crushed pretzel sticks
3/4 c. melted butter
3 tbsp. sugar
8 oz. cream cheese
1 c. sugar
8 oz. Cool Whip
1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry banana Jello
2 c. boiling water
2 (10 oz.) pkgs. frozen strawberries, partially thawed

Mix first three ingredients and press in bottom of a 9"x13" pan. Bake at 350 degrees (metal pan) or 325 degrees (glass pan) 8 minutes. Let cool completely. Beat 1 cup sugar and cream cheese. Fold in Cool Whip. Spread over pretzels. Mix Jello and water until dissolved. Add strawberries. Stir into Jello, then set aside for 10 minutes. Pour over cheese mixture. Chill

If you haven't tried it yet you just gotta...tastes just like strawberry shortcake only with a bit of a crunch to it Smile

I couldn't find the 'corners' to 'fold' the cool whip in, that part gave me a bit of a problem so I just dumped it all in at once, ROFL Smile

monster Wrote:Stuffed IC adjusters....

Take one rather large adjuster and roll tightly in a ball.

Next take one of those meat tenderizer thingies and begin to tenderize by beating the hec out of said adjuster. If it is still yelling then he/she is not tender enough. You are done with this step when no more noise is coming from the tenderized balled up thing.

Now find yourself a very small defense attorney and repeat steps number 1 and 2.

Unroll your adjuster and stuff with the smaller defense attorney.

Now rolllll 'em back up and...

Oh I forgot...you were supposed to prewarm the broiler but since both of the above are probably no longer breathing they are probably roasting in hell anyways, LOL Smile

Sorry I couldn't help it.... Smile

Don't bother with the broiler just put em' on a hot piece of blacktop highway to sizzle. Saves energy!

collateraldamage5591 Wrote:Stuffed jalepenos

a dozen medium sized jalepenos
thick sliced bacon
cream cheese
toothpicks

Split jalepenos lengthwise and remove seeds and veins
Fill jalepeno halves with cream cheese
Wrap with bacon
Insert toothpick through bacon and jalepeno to keep bacon in place

Bake at 250-300 degrees until bacon cooked

I have also cooked them on my smoker for a smokey flavor
They do not last long around here!! Not much burn just a good flavor!
