Update on, looking into changing Attorneys !!!!!
Hi all, well i spoke to a new attorney yesterday about maybe changing up and getting rid of my attorney, and he basically said to me the same thing my attorney stated. That there is not much he can do while my case is in reserved decision to speed things up, It's when the judge gets to it period. He also stated with out me even telling him what my attorney keeps saying, that if you try to get outside people involved or ask for an emergency hearing to try and speed up the Judges decision it can anger the judge into denying my claim. What are these judge's babies with black robes and rubber mallets ? So basically they could care less about your on going medical condition or your economic condition not paying bills and not paying rent just as long as you don't bother them with your problems. Going on 10 weeks now and counting since it was sent for a reserved decision 11 months in total with out nothing being done and i guess it could be another 10 weeks if i am lucky.... Who Knows !!!!!

What I've seen so far too is the judge acts pretty immature in my case also. I've done a search on my judge and have not found any thing bad on him but he sure acts like an a.. hole. Someone said it is that "KING OF THE COURTROOM SYNDROME"

Nothing changes when nothing changes

RE: Update on, looking into changing Attorneys !!!!!
Morning all.......Through my husband's 4 year ase and my 19 months in the system so far I ahve heard alot about Judges in the WC system. Don't do this, don't do that or it 'll piss him off. Our attorney tells us immediately when he knows which judge we have how thing swill probably end up. One is known for being for the employer all the time, one for the IW, one reads even page numbers and is very thorough. one is a screamer, etc. My husband just had another hearing because when he settled they left his medical open for life andnow the IC wants to get rid of that too. Hubby is fighting to have something put in a medicare set aside. WHen the Judge started with the guy before my husband she was screaming at his attorney loud enough to be heard for two blocks. When it was hubby's turn the first thing he said to her was " Are you going to yell at me too"? The judge along with the rest of the courtroom got a good laugh and things calmed down. I guess they're human too and we have to remember that. They are no different than us except they are not injured and they are working. All the rest is the same.
