Tpm Update
Hello again

I couldn't find the thread I was on so sorry for the delay. Just had to start a new one.
I went for my EMG torture test last Tuesday. It was both very good Rolleyes and yet so very bad Sad. The good part was that a very beautiful Polish girl or woman I should say administered the test. She was very professional in what she was doing but also genuinely concerned for my comfort. She kept apologizing every time she zapped me or stuck me. I finally told her not to tell me when it was going to happen, I'd rather be surprised. Of course the bad part was the pain, she had to do both arms.
The Doctor went over the findings and in the minute or so I got to speak to him he mentioned that as a result of my C5-7 fusion I had built up some arthritis which is causing some constriction on my left side. I see him in about a month so I will get the full report.
Then on Thursday I went for an IME (even though I am working). This doc is a Neurologist and in the 5 minutes he examined me the only thing he said after reviewing my latest MRI was that I have a very narrow spinal column. He said something to the effect I was born that way. He had an accent so it was hard to understand him.
Just wanted to fill you guys in and believe me when I say I feel guilty writing about my issues when so many good people on this board are in so much more pain. I think about you all always and wish nothing but the quickest recovery for you all.
Now that it's December 1st....
I would like to wish everyone a very Happy, Healthy, pain free Holiday

Be well

Tom

RE: Tpm Update
Thanks everyone!
It's starting to feel a little like Christmas. Had snow here on Long island today. We also had our annual pancake breakfast with Santa at the firehouse. The timing was great.

Wink RE: Tpm Update
Hello Tpm, I have been lurking as they say on this board going on 2 years now and this is my first post, or reply. Anyway I see where the Doc told you that you have a very narrow spinal column. I have the very same thing, Its called Spinal Stenosis. I had to have a Laminectomy because of this condition. So watch what you do, It can paralyze you if youre not careful. So Google it and read up on it. I feel like I know all of you, from reading your posts the past 2 years. Thats how long Ive been off work. Had 3 fusions also, But anyway I want to throw a SHOUT to "Still In Limbo". Hey man, youre the best, as far as informative. Sound like a great person. Take care Tpm and everyone! Peace[Image: napoleandynamitezi9.gif]

Thanks rebel
I only read the description of Cervical Spinal Stenosis a couple of days ago and it fits my symptoms to a tee! As you may of read I had a double fusion thinking it would alleviate most of my pain but it doesn't seem to be working.
Anyhow welcome to the board, the people on here are truly a wonderful bunch of warm hearted souls and a great resource of what might be ailing you.

Happy Holidays
Welcome and Be Well
