Had My Hearing

[Bummer Knees]

Had my hearing, the judge was presented with the IME report.
The doctor that did the IME was to decide if the work injury caused aggervation to the DJD of my knees.

My attorney presented to the judge the IME report & request for medical treatment.

The attorney for the Ins Co did not show this morning.

My attorney says in his opinion we have won this around for the knees.

He said we have to give the other side something so at this time we are not asking for treatment for the back.

I asked him if we could ask for treatment for the back later, I believe he said yes.

I also also asked my attorney how the rating would change for my left knee after surgery. His response was I would be rated 50%-35% after the replacement.

Now the wait for the judge's decision.

At my first hearing just over a year ago I was not walking with a cane and did not have the altered gait that I now do.

Like Limbo, the attorneys involved can see the physical change in my condition.

The fact the attorney for the Ins Co did not show for court may make a difference.

I was unhappy that my attorney did not want to not ask for treatment for my back yesterday. I understand what he is saying, we have to give the other side something.

I did tell my attorney there are days I can not drive due to the weakness in the back of the leg and leg nerve pain.

My family doctor says I need treatment now for my back and I told my attorney this, he told me to run it through my health insurance.
The last time I turned in a claim for my back to my health insurance, it was denied because my doctor put in writing my back is related to my knees.
