Forgot to mention "the letter" prior to applying for SSD

Sorry all, I forgot to mention that when I decided to apply for SSD two weeks prior to sending off the paperwork I wrote my treating orthopedic physician a letter stating that I was going to have to apply for SSD due no visible signs of recovering completely and also that my financial world was having a meltdown and it was impairative for me to do this. I hand delivered it to his office (they have someone who deals with SSD requests). Anyway, the letter was hand delivered to her. I hope this information helps.....I didn't know what I was doing......but was becoming pretty desperate....(causing even more anxiety) .wondering what I would do if W/C stopped paying me for whatever reason.

RE: Forgot to mention "the letter" prior to applying for SSD
At times you get desperate. I have learned especially on the pain meds I run thru my mind what I am thinking before I let it come out of my mouth. I also write letters to WC, Caseworker, my Atty then I read them a few more times acouple of days before I send them. If you do not protect yourself no one else will

Always believe in yourself. No matter how much some people will make you doubt yourself.
