Tennessee cabins,camping,fishing,golfing etc..
http://state.tn.us/environment/parks/fin...bins.shtml
http://www.stateparks.com/ http://www.resortsandlodges.com/lodging/...WAodGQ4pDw in the rsorts and lodges there is Westgate Branson woods, with 319 cabins price ranging from 69 to 339.00 open year round...pretty site.... I was just looking up states with state parks that has a little for everyone.....I thought this was pretty cool...not to be a smart aleck but I was thinking mid west/south central located for teh east and west coasters to be able to make maybe this trip a reality...just a thought along with Starve Rock Illinois, why don't we all put our input and post they're favorite sites etc....I'm not that up on areas to visit so it would be a welcoming thoughts for everyone to jump in and make suggestions.....If nothing comes of it, well at least we all got to see places, some might not ever have seen....what do you think? no where to hide |

RE: Tennessee cabins,camping,fishing,golfing etc..
Crabby...I liked the linked you posted about resorts and lodges. It had alot of information about Branson Missouri. So many different opitions for everyone...and lots of different prices ranges...$49. 00 to $700.00 all kinds of living enviroments. Something to everyones likely. Cabins and houses for $165.00 a night and the cabin or the house may have two or three bedrooms so if people wanted to share one of them and spilt the cost....that would be nice. And then some of the places did have campgrounds....so if we decided on a date not to late into fall some that still like to camp in tents could do that. Or maybe like when our children were younger...hubby and I would stay in the cabin then the boys would sleep in a tent outside by the cabin. All these places in Branson Missouri had alot of things to do to..so know one would get bored....fishing..swimming..golfing..hiking...boating...ect. PAINTING CLASS with RED...lol Then in the evening we could go to town for a couple of shows. We like country music....so does Carol...Del will go to just humor us...lol Alot of the places have BBQ grills...we can plan a big feast one night. And then one night a ice cream social. And of course everynight would be rum ball night...lol So my vote is Branson Missouri for first choice.
Second choice Las Vegas or Reno Nevada. Branson will be the better one if we are planning on having young children. Vegas if everyone wants to have more of an adult gathering. I mapquested the trip to Branson for hubby and I....it is only 1478.47 miles and it says it will take us 21 hours to get there. But what fun...I'm in to go. You have my thoughts on it. |

;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....

monster Wrote:Vegas baby, LOL...just kidding my little pincher friend Although my geography isn't that great, I was in the center of the continental US the summer of 1994 on a family vacation. It is Smith Center Kansas .. and I don't think it would work for a greet n meet as there really isn't anything there. ~LOL~ Just a big marker and a little bitty chapel that might hold 5 of 6 of us :0) Angel ^j^ I've always been crazy, but it keeps me from going insane. ************ Happiness comes through doors you didn't even know you left open |

I had a thought on the area or state, And we should think about the people that would need to fly in, as many can not make a long drive, So would need a large airport within an hour or less drive.
Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain. |
