Beth,

I am in North Central Texas, Wichita Falls, just south of the Okie state line. I will probably end up having to go into Dallas / Ft. Worth area (about 2.5 to 3 hrs away) to find a good specialist that will deal with my hand and NV WC.

The big thing will be getting the WC in NV to approve my treatment out here. Although I didn't have a lot of trouble with the IC while being treated, it was enough that I retained an attorney. If it comes down to them denying it for TX, I may have to go back to Vegas and stay with a friend while I get it taken care of.

I have a nice 3 inch scar starting from the inside of my wrist, wrapping up and out to just below my ring finger. He had to make the incision larger than normal as I had a bone spur in the wrist (below the ring finger) that had to be taken out as well. And after the 2nd surgery, it is very prominent. But, I have learned to live with the scar. If I hold my wrist just right, it is hidden with the fold of the skin.
