have my Christmas tree....
I went to home depot today, cuz I wanted to get out for alittle bit...and I found my Christmas tree (italian stone pine)there...It's a real little Christmas tree, that I can plant in the ground after the holidays...it's so cute...and I also brought a little Rosemary tree (shaped like a christmas tree) that I can plant also...I'll decorate both of them and enjoy the smells....How cool is that....from a place called the "pinery" tree farm...has instructions for indoor and outdoor use...I'm so excited....

no where to hide

RE: have my Christmas tree....
CRABBY...that is so exciting... decorate it and show us a picture... I love to decorate Christmas trees. Until the last two years, I would decorate 8 trees for our home alone. Some where larger than others, but each tree had it own theme. Usually I had two 4' trees in the dinning room with china and victorian porcelain dolls on them. The one in the living room was a 7' tree and it was the only real tree and it had a Victorian theme also. The white one in the foyer was a white 6' foot tree and it was decorated with the traditional reds and whites ...loaded with red lights. Then I had 2 6' trees in the game room ... both with snowman themes... one of them was basically red and the other was blue. Then there was one in our bedroom and one in the in law suite.... I love to decorate trees. The one in our bedroom had a train that with the touch of a button would make sounds and circle our tree... I wish I could do that this year, however..all decorations in oregon..in storage... bummer... want to see as many trees as possible... I am going to miss the trees... Red

RE: have my Christmas tree....
Hi Crabby, That sounds so cool. You need to send us pics after you decorate your tree.

I just had a yard sale with my daughter this weekend and sold ALL my Christmas stuff that I have accumulated over the years, and gave all the heirlooms to the kids. Had way too many! I kept one box or ornaments that I treasure and that is my angel collection. I can't wait to find a tree and decorate it this year. No decisions on what ornaments. Only have angels! I love it! RE: have my Christmas tree....
Crabby...Can almost smell them just by you describing them. They sound wonderful. So now you have to post a picture. Hey that would be fun....if everyone would post a picture of thier Christmas tree when it get closer to the holiday. That would be fun. Or pictures of your house with all the Christmas lights if that is what you like to do. I don't do lights outside...not with the kids grown. If I was to even mention to my husband something about putting up the Christmas tree he would think I lost my mind. No christmas here till after Thanksgiving. But my parents have thiers up...they will do anything for the Grandchildren...so the tree has been up for about a week...thought my hubby was going to faint when he saw...lol. Hey we are all different...if it makes you happy. It makes me happy.

Crabby

Sounds wonderful, I went and put up some of my christmas decorations yesterday as well. Nothing much but I had to get my Christmas Pooh bear out that I have had for years out. He wears his little night shirt and has a lamp that moves - it's one of the animations that came out in the 90's - Also got out tigger and eeyore as well - but Pooh is still my favorite one of all because he was my first one.

RE: have my Christmas tree....
We usually buy a real tree every year a couple of weeks before xmas. I now have a apartment that hubby and i stay at during the week, and that tree sounds wonderful that you bought at home depot. Just something small that smells good would be nice there. I will have to go to HD and check it out. Thanks.
