RE: off topic just me
May God bless you, your family and friends. This has to be one of the most trying times in a persons life. The loss of a child is very hard to deal with. My empathy for the parents. My son passed away 24 years ago and there is not a day that goes by that I don't think about him, there is not a day that goes by that I don't miss him. I don't think I will ever get over the tragic loss however I have learned over the years to deal with my emotions. I no longer cry at the drop of a hat, the mention of his name, a darling little teddy bear that I have kept and preserved. Know that God will be there for you and your family here on this forum will be there for you. Please don't hesitate to PM me or email me if you ever need a shoulder. I will gladly give you mine.

Deb

Sad RE: off topic just me
Jayne, yes..it's a tragedy. Hopefully a lesson learned as well. I'm praying for you and that child's family...loads of them!!
In the meantime...maybe this will help you out a little:

Where God Ain't

He was just a little boy, on a week's first day.
Wandering home from Sunday School, and dawdling on the way.

He scuffed his shoes into the grass; he even found a caterpillar.
He found a fluffy milkweed pod, and blew out all the "filler."

A bird's nest in a tree overhead, so wisely placed up so high.
Was just another wonder, that caught his eager eye.

A neighbor watched his zig zag course, and hailed him from the lawn;
Asked him where he'd been that day and what was going on.

"I've been to Bible School ," he said and turned a piece of sod.
He picked up a wiggly worm replying, "I've learned a lot about God."

"M'm, very fine way," the neighbor said, "for a boy to spend his time."
"If you'll tell me where God is, I'll give you a brand new dime."

Quick as a flash the answer came! Nor were his accents faint.
"I'll give you a dollar, Mister, if you can tell me where God ain't." Smile

Remember, God may have a greater plan...one we can't expect to understand at a time like this, right? And, as has been said many, many times over, "This too, shall pass."
Take care my friend....we're hear for you...all you have to do is say the word!!!

RE: off topic just me
Jayne.....Please take several moments through out each day and find time just for Jayne and God. Call it Jayne and God time. You really need it. Your life at this time feels like it is caving in around you. Please ask the the Lord above to pick it up...and he shall. I will also ask him to help you. He will protect you and your family. He will wrapp you in his arms and hold those caving walls up as the world spins out of control. He will slow all this down for you...just ask. But you have to take those... Jayne and God moments no matter what is going on in your day. So this evening I what you to pour your favorite drink and go sit outside all by yourself in your favorite spot...look up in to the beatiful skys. Take some good deep breathes and have a good talk with god then say your prayers. Then some good deep breathes. If you can do this at 9:00pm I will join you. And maybe a few others here can join us. (If you are having bad weather go to the barn...just some where...where know one will bother you. You need to take care of YOU. You derserve it. So I will be outside sitting in swing at 9:00pm looking up saying a prayer first for me then my family then for you then for all my friend here. Will you join me? Come on everyone ...join Jayne & I outside this evening who will support Jayne with this?
