RE: RME Appointment
The IC is an idiot! You're having surgery on the 9th they can't expect you to be at an appt on the 11th....unless they want to come to your hospital bedside!
Hope everything goes well with your stress test! RE: RME Appointment
I had the stress test yesterday - it was a breeze. I haven't heard anything yet from the neurosurgeon regarding the test but the nurse there told me my blood pressure did go up quite high but it came back down. I did feel a strong pain in the right temple area like a migrain. Not sure what that meant if anything. Guess I will just have to wait and see what the neurosurgeon says.

RE: RME Appointment
hi deb.......1st i want to wish you the best with your surgery. prayers will be said that all is a success and you have a full, speedy recovery. hubby had the same surgery and as with punk was discharged the next day. as far as the ticker goes, i aquired extra heartbeats at some point about 6 months ago. had an irregular EKG so of course i was sent to the cardio's office the next day. had an irregular echo and a hard time getting my heart rate up through the stress test. have the heart of a 20 year old from what i am told. now that i have had all this done and hve seen the cardio a couple of times, when my pcp does an EKG for a surgical release and isn't comfortable, he fx's it over to the cardio who compares it to previous ones and HE gives his OK. i know it's a pain in the butt, but better safe than sorry. hope all is well with the stress test. update us when you can.Prayers, CAP

RE: RME Appointment
If the neurosurgeon is ok with the stress test that I did and thinks that I can make it through the surgery then I will have it this Wednesday (the 9th). Thanks everyone for the help and also many thanks for all the prayers - I truly appreciate it.
