RE: Red
Hi KG, I'm not Red but I have some experience with Risperdol. It is an antipsychotic medication used for mood disorders. It's supposed to bring you to an even keel, so to speak. I was taking it at bedtime for extreme anxiety, for a very short duration. Doctors prescribe it for various mental health conditions. Many bipolar and schizophrenic patients use it for the long term.

Zonegram is used to control seizures, usually by epileptics, The son of one of my neighbors takes this medication, and it works well for him.

Both of these meds are approved for children. Anyone taking these meds should be monitored very closely for side effects.

Is this what you are asking? If not, disregard. Tongue

Let Go, and Let God......

RE: Red
Hi kentuckygal...I wrote a note and then lost it when my phone rang.. chrischris is right about all the information that has been given. There are a lot of precautions about giving the drug to any age, so I would make sure I knew exactly how to give it, when to give it, what signs to watch for, etc. If you have any other quesetions, please let us know...love Red
