Sithie, I am so sorry that you are having to go through this worry. You are in my prayers and will continue to be. I pray that it is not cancer and that you will get the results that you need soon to set your mind at ease. I know the fear of cancer is all consuming.

Thank you all so much, I still have no news, I am waiting for an application for a place called "Journey of Hope" they mailed it to me, and I will drive it to Durango when I get it. It then takes 2-3 days to find out if they will pay for mammogram and ultrasound. If they approve me, they then will schedule the test. So, despite the Docotr being all worried and in a hurry, I have to wait. I thank you all for your prayers and toughts, and will let you know more as I do.

sithie, I am so glad that the doctor is attempting to help you with the finances for all of this. As you all know at least I think so, I truly believe that healthcare is a right just like education is a right for young children. Here is why I believe in socialize medicine. You should not have to wait, but this is here and now, so hopefully we will all hear good news soon. Please know we are all thinking about you and prayers are continually going up on your behalf. I have put you on a prayer line in Oregon and their are a 100 or more people praying for you from that direction as well. They only know your line name... but God knows that name. cannot the cancer centers of america help....I called them when they found my lump and they were a great source of help and information not to mention support....I thank God everyday I have insurance I cannot imagine the horrors of not being able to have the mammogram as well as the horror of not knowing.....mine turned out to be a water filled cisk as most do but the 2 weeks I waited for the tests were awful......

Many hospitals are non-profits and have programs in place to provide medical coverage for the uninsured of any age.
