 Vickie is painting yea....
Hi all... Vickie and I are painting.. She must take breaks due to pain levels as you are all aware of how horrible that can be so we have decided to take a picture at different stages of the painting. So far she has completed the following... lets all watch to see where she goes from here
[attachment=495] The first step is the application of magic White on a blank Canvas...watch that brush move... [attachment=496] Second step is to make a sky. Vickie wanted to make a sky with a crimson and yellowish hue... Here we are again... Vickie needs a break and this is a great time for a new picture to see progress.. She has laid in her water with a sunset and then based in her moutains... lets see where it goes from here... love Red

Thank you very much, I keep getting nervous, that I would mess up, but Red's a good teacher. When she tries to help show me how to hold the brush or the knife I tend to tense up, and she has to tell me to just relax,lol. I'm tickled to be doing this. I have only painted by numbers before this, so there's a big differance. Take care Vickie |

Hi all...sorry that it is taking so long, if we would stop talking and taking breaks we would be done by now... got a little more to do, but here is our progress... hope you see that it doesn't take gobs of talent... just some strokes...oh I guess I should say that, because the indication is that Vickie doesn't have talent and she does.. she has done this by her self...even how she wants it done. I believe hers is turning out better than mine...

Thank you guys very much, we're taking a break, had dinner and will be getting more done soon. I'm having an easier time at learning this that I thought I would, with Red being there beside me showing each stroke. Like she told me before, it's not that I need a bunch of talent, it just a series of strokes. Thanks for the nice comments.
