RE: Bingo Words
Good Morning all.... thank you for your great replies. I love the game, and I love just knowing that everyone is happy playing the game. And as Tuffy said if this game can help to take away your pain if even for a short minute every day then I feel that we have accomplished something. Also, I have given this some thought and if all the BINGO winners will agree, I will pay the prizes as a donation to secret santa. They will go as a transaction number that the winners will be given. I will simply decrease the amount I have set to give slightly ... and then we truly will have a win win... the winner can know that they have given to secret santa, secret santa will increase in funds and I will simply make room for it in my budget by decreasing my amount by at least half of what I am putting out for the secret santa... I will work it all out tonight... so everyone knows what they numbers are... I love you all...and thank you for understanding... love Red

Red

I understand your kind heart - really I do, but instead of doing separate transactions of each winner - why not combine all winners into one transaction and put the bingo club as the one that donated. Because it sounds like a group effort on all to be willing to donate all winnings if Mel returns to the Christmas fund.

RE: Bingo Words
Good Morning Everyone.....

Congrats to Tweety and Pooh on getting Bingo! How wonderful to see all the winnings going to the Sercet Santa Fund. Red, you do what ever you feel you need to do...and if you hear from Mel with the gift cards then you can do what ever is best for the Sercet Santa Fund. So at this time lets just see what happens. The most important thing is that Mel is doing well....and we all hope we will hear from her. And we can hope the Sercet Santa Program will continue to grow and will be able to reach out to help the children we all so want to help.

Again Red THANK YOU for doing this BINGO GAME.

Red

I too agree with what everyone has posted. I had fun just waiting for the words, I know that I didn't win, but if I would have, it would have gone to the secret santa fund also. Thank you junmping in and taking over for Mel when she had to leave. You do so much for us. Can't wait till your back from your trip and you can be back on here more.
Congadulations to all winners.
Take care
Vickie

RE: Bingo Words
My opinion. Red, you should not give the prizes to anyone otr secret santa. You put what you had earmarked for SS in there. The Bingo game was fun, and that was our pay out. If Mel is able to return soon she can add the gift cards to the SS fund. We had fun, and that is the point of the games in the first place.

RE: Bingo Words
ok all... I don't feel right for the winners not to win... lets see we have jayne who won $20.00, Spring won $15.00, CRABBY won $10.00, and then was it pooh who won the next $10.00, and Tweety came in last..at $5.00 ... and last is who... have we identified that person as of yet? That would be another $5.00 which would equal only $65.00. I am going to put it in the SS under a transaction number for secret santa and then deduct my transaction number by that amount. Is this ok? I am only paying what I planned to do and everyone who played still won and can feel good that they have given to the SS. I think that is a great Win-Win solution. Will fix this week end on the SS pledge forum...is this ok? Thank you for all playing.

You know I love to sponsor this game, and I love to see people enjoy playing. But I really love sending out the prizes. This is a time I truly wish I was a very wealthy lady because I would have so much fun sending so much to you all. However, I am not going to be able to play until February of 2008. I am so sorry about that. If you want to play with one gift that can be put in an envelope and then mailed that way, I could play many more. Just thinking that is all... just want you all to enjoy your life as much as possible. love you all..... Red
